8/8 Wine Class: Washington State
Wednesday August 8, 6:30-8:30pm
The desert of eastern Washington State is home to some of the most exciting new wine regions in North America. In June, I had the opportunity to travel across the state to taste the wine and learn firsthand what makes it such a special place. I'm excited to have the opportunity to share what I learned, along with pictures, soil samples, and plenty of wines! We'll taste through 12 examples of some of the most unique and characteristic wines of Washington and explore the climate and geology behind each wine.
This region-specific class will be a great way to dive beyond the basics and go deep into the factors that shape the character of wine. Small bites will be provided for pairing, but we encourage you to stop by the cheese counter beforehand for more snacks if you'd like.
