Wine: Field Recordings “Freddo” Sangiovese
100% Sangiovese from Paso Robles, California, naturally crafted with no additives, unfined and unfiltered. Aromas of sweet mint, Craisins, liquorice, strawberry seeds, the palate is generous with red fruits, especially dark cherry. Has the feel of Ocean Spray Cran-Raspberry juice and pomegranates. Beer: Captain Lawrence “Rosso e Marrone”
Craft Brewery from Hudson Valley, New York, this is a very interesting take on a sour. This is an oak aged ale and fermented with red wine grapes! The red wine grapes were mixed with sour brown ale and aged in oak barrels with Brettanomyces to impart a distinct and complex mouthfeel that is tangy and electric!
